On Saturday, January
26, 2019, author and speaker Barb Desormo will share how a divine experience
changed the way she viewed herself and was freed from crippling insecurity.
Today, Desormo shares her message to help others overcome their own
"Identity Crisis." The program at Grace Community Church, 17784
Michael Road and U.S. Route 11, Adams Center, N.Y., is a free to attend and
begins at 10 am following a complimentary and optional breakfast from 9 to 9:45
am.
"Once I was crippled by insecurities, jealousies, unforgiveness, and
believing what other people said about me. Today, I write and speak to gently,
and with humor, help other women overcome the labels people put on us,
regardless of their past or challenges," says Desormo, author of "The
Devil Wants You Busy, Bound or Burnt Out."
Desormo is active with a weekly jail ministry, the worship team at First
Baptist Church of Watertown, N.Y., and the Rose of Sharon and Daughters of
Grace women's ministries.
The January 26 program is a presentation of Live More Ministries, a Christian
women's outreach program offered quarterly at churches throughout Jefferson
County. Desormo will be giving four copies of her book away as door prizes that
day.
